When setting up your wild bird feeder or bird house, you should consider how high off the ground it should be. A good reason for this would be weather or not you have squirrels in your area. If so, then you want to place your wild bird feeder at least 10-15 feet away from any trees and at least 6 feet off of the ground would be the perfect height so that the squirrels won't jump up and help themselves to the bird feed.
When attracting wild birds to your garden it is a good idea to remember to provide a safe and comfortable place for them to nest. We've came up with a birdhouse/birdfeeder that does just that!
